I have always loved the 'This I Believe' feature on NPR and have tried writing one for years. Mine isn't as profound and beautiful as some I have heard, but it is honest and it is me.

This I Believe:

I believe in love at first sight, in gut feelings, in goodness.

I believe in hard work, in fighting for what you believe in, and perseverance.

I believe in adventure, seeing the world, and living life the the fullest degree.

I believe in challenge, personal growth, and constantly pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.

I believe in the beauty of people, children, and relationships no matter who you are, where you are or what you think you look like.

I believe in Tostito's Lime Chips, Tuesday Night Taco Night, and Trader Joe's Sipping Chocolate in my coffee.

I believe in handmade, homemade, and stitched with love.

I believe in giving back.

I believe we are all capable of our greatest dreams no matter how big. If
you set your mind to making something happen and put enough sweat, love, and passion into making it happen - then I believe it will.

I believe in laughing, having fun, and humor. Give me funny or give me death.

I believe in the power of a photograph, the memories wound into each photo, and I urge you to take more photos.

I believe in believing in our children, encouraging them to change the world if they want to, and teaching them that anything is possible.
